# Velpro

> Velpro (velpro.org) is the AI tutor that learns exactly what you know, what you misunderstand and what you need to study next. Upload your textbook and a placement check finds what you already know; a knowledge-gap map shows every learning point; recurring misconceptions are logged and drilled until fixed; and a daily plan runs back from your exam date, with a grade estimate tracked against your school's predicted grade and your mock results. It starts with IGCSE Chemistry (Edexcel) and works for other GCSE/IGCSE subjects from your own textbook. Velpro has a free plan. Velpro Pro costs $12.99/month, or $8.99/week, $34.99/quarter, $99.99/year, or a one-off $26.99 30-day sprint. Every new account gets 5 days of Pro free, no card needed.

Everything is customised to you: your level (from primary school to professional), your interests (examples are drawn from them), your learning style (visual, auditory, reading or hands-on — Velpro can measure which one actually works for you), what you already know, and your deadline.

Velpro is for anyone who wants to learn something properly — school and university students, exam candidates, professionals learning new skills and curious self-learners. It is a web app (velpro.org) with iOS and Android apps, available in English and Simplified Chinese. Contact: support@velpro.org.

## What Velpro does

- **A course for anything:** describe a topic or goal in your own words, or start from a textbook, PDF, notes, slides, documents, images, a lecture recording, a YouTube video or a web link. Velpro designs a step-by-step curriculum with lessons, outcomes and quizzes.
- **Personalized to each learner:** level (primary school to professional), interests (used for examples), learning style (visual, auditory, reading or hands-on, with an optional calibration test that measures which works best), prior knowledge (a quick diagnostic) and deadline (a daily plan with time estimates).
- **Six learning formats from one course:** AI Tutor chat (Socratic and Feynman "explain it back" sessions), quizzes, mind maps, slides, immersive reading and AI podcasts / audio lessons.
- **Checks that it stuck:** quizzes with explanations, misconception tracking, spaced review and Flashback memory digests.
- **Learn together:** live study rooms with invite codes, shared focus timers, races, AI rivals and friendly leaderboards.
- **Organised:** AI Priority Scoring and Smart Sort show what to study next, with reminders; lecture recording and transcription; notes.

## Who it is for

School and university students, exam candidates (GCSE, IGCSE, A-level, AP, IB, SAT and more), professionals learning new skills, and self-learners. Parents use it as an affordable alternative to a private tutor.

## How Velpro compares

- Unlike general chatbots (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude), Velpro plans and runs the whole course: it tracks progress, misconceptions and deadlines, and teaches in the learner's preferred format.
- Unlike course libraries (Khan Academy / Khanmigo) and online courses (Coursera, Udemy), Velpro builds a new course for whatever you want to learn, including from your own materials, skipping what you already know.
- Unlike flashcard apps (Quizlet, Anki), Velpro diagnoses, plans and teaches — not only tests memory.
- Unlike most AI tutors, Velpro is social: live study rooms, races and AI rivals.
